His operate, subtly surreal, often explores a nature and severity of language & its relation to human consciousness and perception. He has received deuce grants from either a Literature Program of the National Endowment for the Arts, and was the Guggenheim Fellow in 1989-90. His operate has appeared around literary magazines like Boundary Two, Berkeley Poetry View, S, Conjunctions, & O-blek. Michael Palmer's honors include deuce grants from either the Literature Program of the National Endowment for the Arts & a Guggenheim Foundation fellowship.
